Aki moved to Tokyo for college and married a senior student and had Masaki. However, their young married life did not last long, and they divorced when Masaki was one year old. Aki quit college and worked hard to raise Masaki by herself. Masaki eventually became an adult and enrolled in college. After she finished raising her children, Aki felt a sense of nostalgia and decided to return to her hometown with Masaki.
